Introduction
Tackling Expense Visibility for the Modern Digital User.
This project addresses a critical challenge in today's fintech landscape: improving expense visibility for highly UPI-dependent users. Guided by the belief that great design begins with a rigorous User-Centred Design (UCD) methodology , this case study explores how we translated complex user problem statements into intuitive, everyday financial tools. By progressing through a comprehensive Research, Analysis, Design, and Testing lifecycle, my goal was to deeply understand the friction points users face when managing and tracking their digital spending.
From Research to Measurable Impact
This research helped us build and refine key features like the UPI Spend Predictor and Smart Pay. We used moderated testing and clear information design to create smooth user interaction flows. In the end, we solved real user problems while delivering measurable impact and positive metrics for stakeholders.
